In the last sixty years, the unique and pristine ecosystem of the state of Florida has been damaged and forever changed, through the inadvertent importation from international shipping and the accidental release during weather events, of non-native, invasive, aggressive wildlife, which include pythons, monitor lizards, tegus and iguanas. Iguanas with their prodigious breeding and no control methodologies being employees by the state, now number in the millions. The several breeds of pythons now occupying the Everglades and surrounding areas, can grow to twenty feet in length, have no natural predators, can consume prey as large as alligators and deer. Dealing with these unwelcome guests is what we do best. Native nuisance wildlife such as alligators and venomous snakes, need to be captured and returned to the wild, far away from potential contact with people.

Preventive Measures

Clear vinyl wrapping of trees, docks, piers and sea walls which has proven very effective in negating iguanas ability to climb and roost in trees and eliminating their access to properties from our waterways. When applicable, low voltage, electric barriers can be installed on structures and in landscaping that deters Iguana traffic and infiltration.
